I’m Eleanor Gilbert I am a physician for the
North Shore Physician’s Group at the Marblehead office.
I went to medical school at the Boston University School of Medicine and then I did a residency
at Cambridge City Hospital which is now a part of the Cambridge Health Alliance.
I enjoy Preventive medicine. I do enjoy geriatrics as well as women’s health
those are some of my clinical interests. I decided to become a physician because I
enjoy working with people and working as a team with patients to try to improve and maintain
their health. There are a number of reasons I was attracted
to the North Shore Physicians Group. I did want to be part of a large multi-specialty
group. I appreciate the resources available being part of a large physician group.
I also appreciate the administrative support that SPG provides its physicians.
The North Shore is a unique community it is a very close and tight, knit community and
I appreciate getting to know the community as a physician in this setting and just getting
to know more about the patients, their families, their loves growing up and often generations
growing up in the same town. I raise three children, I still have two at
home and I have two dogs that keep me active and so I enjoy my family and my pets and being
part of the neighborhood and community where I raised my kids.
