So having a regular primary care physician is important for
a couple reasons. Probably the most important is that you always have
somebody you can turn to. Way better than going to Google or
going to a friend who may not be able to give you the right advice. If you have a
primary care doctor, you always have somebody you can either stop and see
or you can talk to on the phone. Secondly, the person gets to know you. They get
to know what makes you an individual. Doctoring is not a cookie-cutter
business. What works for one person might not work for somebody else and having a
doctor who knows you can tailor a treatment that works best
